I spent many years analyzing horoscope signs, not professionally, but rather practically in real live situations. The motivation behind it was the fact that I always felt as an Earth Visitor who does not understand human communcation .... at all at times. Though I needed some rules and categories that would help me to build segments of communication and behavior that I could if not understand than at least know how to handle. And the horoscope signs seemed as the best segmentational model to work out the differences between different personalities and their ways to behave. Of course there is much more to a person as simply the horoscope. But astrology surely has a strong influence on the personality that is yet to be proofed statistically and methodologically (who knows, maybe I could manage it one day as well...). For me personally this definitely works and worked throughout my life.
Some of the success stories of my life are of course those moments when I would meet new people and just by talking to them, listening to their responses and sensing our reactions towards each other I would be able to guess what zodiac sign they belong to. Nope, didn't work every time, but surely more often than even I thought it would.
The most interesting fact about zodiac signs is that throughout your life you attract or surroud yourself with the same signs that fit your personality the best without even knowing it. My marketing professor and the head of the university marketing department, being an acquarius, created an entire team of doctorate candidates working for him, who he felt the most comfortable with, consisting of Pieces, Cancers, Geminis and Libras. Tauruses, Arieses, Capricorns, Leos and a few more would hardly stand a chance in this kind of a team.
If you look closely at your friend circle you will realize that you will have certain signs that repeatedly easily enter and stay in that circle, and some signs will never ever show up. Those might not necessarily be the signs that "officially" are most compatible with yours (for example being a Cancer, the water element, you might not necessarily get along the best with Scorpios and Pieces). Among other influences, sometimes growing up among "incompatible" signs make you knowlegable about their way of interacting so that those signs become your comfort zone. But the fact is, you will have the same or very similar positive or negative experiences with certain zodiac signs. Just take a look around and ask for the birthdates to be surprised about how true it is.
Though my theory is that the best functioning teams within a company are actually teams of well corresponding and compatible zodiac personalities. Same goes for the relationships, although interacting with a person each and every day on a very personal and intimate level takes much more than simply horoscope compatibility (I will follow up on this topic in other posts). And finally the success of raising kids can strongly depend on considereing child's zodiac sign. Disciplinary way of forcing a child to learn certain things against his/her will can be either a necessity for certain signs like Aries which will usually lead to a great success, or an absolutely wrong teaching method resulting in contraproductive feelings and behaviors as in the case of Pieces.
